I woke up early behind some bushes in Mobile, and crossed the Perdido River to make my way into Florida. Pensacola was on the map as a riding venue and I decided it would make a fun way to get going in the morning. Around 8:30 I was suited up and ready to ride. These trails are on University of West Florida and a public utilities property. There are a bunch of scary signs on Pate Road about surveillance but you can see the dirt lot is used a lot.
There are trails on both sides of the road but I just wanted to spin the legs out prior to driving some more. I hit the main side and followed the arrows (I've come to realize directional trails are a big thing not only in Florida but a lot of the south, more on that in another post).
